Dr. Pramod Pandey is currently a professor/specialist in field of environmental modelling and sensing, renewable energy, and GHG-emission control in the Department of Population Health and Reproduction, and University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources (UCANR). He is a part of several graduate groups including Food Science and Technology; Biological and Agricultural Engineering; Agricultural and Environmental Chemistry; Hydrologic Sciences; and Electrical and Computer Engineering. Dr. Pandey received PhD and GIS degrees from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa. He received M.S. degree from Washington State University, USA; and M. Tech. degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, India. He completed B. Tech degree from Mahatma Gandhi Gramodya University, Chitrakoot, India in 2000.
Dr. Pandey Joined University of California Davis (UC Davis) and UC ANR in 2013, and over a decade he is working in California to understand the challenges linked with agriculture, waste, water quality, and the emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs). Dr. Pandey has produced over 200 research articles including peer reviewed manuscript, reports on outreach and extension activities, conference abstracts and material). Dr. Pandey’s research is dedicated to enhancing sustainability, and discovering
engineering solutions for existing climate challenges and environmental problems.
