The innovative, light, compact and affordable solar cooker developed by Shri. Vivek Kabra (MTech, Energy Systems Engg, IIT Bombay)  was given to 3,484 school children who assembled  it and cooked noodles with vegetables in about half an hour on Jan 4, 2014 at Keshavsrushti near Bhayender, Dist Thane.
