About the speaker
Dr. Chandrasekhar Perumalla did his Ph.D from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at National Institute of Technology Warangal as Assistant Professor in the year 2014, while he was pursuing his Ph.D and is continuing in the same position. He received INAE-Innovative Thesis Award- 2015 at Doctoral Level, POSOCO Power System Award-2013 at Doctoral Level, Madhusudan Memorial Medal by IE (I) and Best Innovative Idea by TERI University, New Delhi. He received Institute Silver Medal form National Institute of Technology Rourkela for being the First Topper in M.Tech. His research interests are Renewable Energy Systems, Smart Controllers for Microgrid/Smart Grid Systems, Soft Computing Applications to Power Quality Problems, and Application of Power Electronics to Power Systems.
