Dr Balasubramaniam Kavaipatti joins DESE department, IITB as Assistant Professor. His research interests are thin films to expedite cheap and abundant materials selection in energy applications, thin films as model systems to study surface/interface mechanisms, epitaxy as a route to investigate phase stability of highly bulk-metastable materials.
