Please upload the full paper on OCS, and not just the abstract. The full papers must be minimum 6 pages and maximum 10 pages long using the conference paper template. 

Papers submitted in incorrect format or using a different template will not be considered for review. Do not send your submissions by email. The papers sent by email would be disregarded.

The authors must ensure that the submitted papers are original and have not been submitted elsewhere at the same time. All the submissions will undergo a plagiarism check and the submissions with high similarity scores will be rejected.

A full paper must be submitted for presentation at the conference. Oral or poster presentation will not be allowed without the submission of the full paper.
Proceedings
Springer Proceedings in Energy


All the accepted papers which are presented at the conference will be published as a book volume in Springer Proceedings in Energy.

Springer will conduct quality checks based on plagiarism, language, and AI generated content on the accepted papers, and the authors may be given a chance to update their submissions based on these checks. Those papers that do not pass the publisher's quality checks may not be published.

Please make sure that as authors, you take permission to reuse if you are using content, figures, and/or data from previously published work, even if it's your own.

Journals
ICAER 2019 - Journal partners

Authors of selected best papers from ICAER 2019 will be invited to submit full-length manuscripts for publication consideration in Particulate Science and Technology or Solar Energy.

The authors of the selected papers will be required to submit significantly longer manuscripts as per the respective journal format.

The submitted manuscripts will go through the peer-review and publication process of the respective journal.

All the rates are inclusive of applicable taxes. Note that the online payment option may incur additional online transaction charges. In addition to the above, a limited number of hostel accommodation is also available for Indian participants for INR 850 for the conference duration on a twin sharing basis. The hostels must be reserved before 15 Nov 2019.

For every accepted paper, there should be at least one registered author. It is recommended that the presenting author registers for the conference.

The registration fee for all delegates includes: (a) admission to all conference sessions and tea breaks, (b) lunches and banquet dinner, (c) conference registration kit, and (d) optional participation to the pre-conference workshop on hydrogen storage (see here for more information on the workshop).


There is also a possibility to bring an "accompanying person" with you to the conference, e.g. spouses, etc. The registration fee for the accompanying person for the various categories is mentioned below. All the rates are inclusive of applicable taxes.

The registration fee for an accompanying person includes admission to all lunches, banquet dinner, and tea breaks. Hostel accommodation may be requested for the accompanying person by choosing the correct gender on the payment portal. The accompanying person hostel will be allotted only if the accompanying person has also registered for the conference under the appropriate category.

Oral presentation
Please consider the following points while preparing the slides for oral presentation at the conference:

1. The presentation should be prepared for a maximum duration of 12 minutes.

2. It is recommended to prepare the slides in 4:3 aspect ratio and limit the presentation to a maximum of 15 slides.

3. It is strongly recommended to prepare your presentation with a white background and to minimize the use of animations and transitions.

4. The use of schematics and charts attracts more attention than using a large amount of text.

5. Laptops and audio/visual systems are available at the conference venue, The speakers do not need to bring these with them.

6. The speakers should bring their presentations in both .ppt/.pptx and .pdf formats in a USB drive. At the beginning of each session, please make sure to locate the student volunteer and upload your presentation on the laptop.
Poster and video abstract

Please consider the following points while preparing your poster for display during the conference:

1.  Your poster must correspond to the title and content of your submission.

2.  Your poster must be designed to fit within the confines of the provided posterboard. For this, the poster should be of the standard A0 size and prepared in portrait mode.

3.  It is strongly recommended that the poster is printed on paper or cloth, and not on flex. Any kind of plastic coating on the poster should also be avoided.

4.  Plan your poster to be in logical sequence, i.e. introduction, study design and methods, data collected, results and discussion, and conclusion.

5.  The posters should be designed for clear viewing from a distance of beyond 3 feet so that they can be viewed by a number of people at the same time.

6.  In order to ensure visual effectiveness of your poster, please use large lettering and a minimum of text. Use of colour can visually enhance your poster.



Video abstract guidelines

The participants who are presenting a poster at ICAER 2019 may also present a video abstract for their posters.
