Research Interests: Electroluminescence Characterization of Degraded Photovoltaic Modules

Project Topic: Electroluminescence characterization of degraded photovoltaic modules.
The objective of this work is to analyze the degradation effects in modules. In present photovoltaic industries the concern pertaining defects and degradation as the modules bear hash environmental condition at the outdoors, is a serious one. This study concerning simulated climatic conditions to analyze appearance and evolution of defects in PV modules with the help of electroluminescence (EL), dark lock-in thermography (DLIT) and I-V analysis can be helpful to understand performance and reliability of modules and predicting module lifetime.
