Starting with its first edition in 2007, the international conference on advances in energy research (ICAER) has been a platform to facilitate interaction among energy researchers in academia and industry, showcasing the latest research innovations in energy sector. IIT Bombay organized nine editions of ICAER from 2007 to 2023. The 10th edition of ICAER is also being organized by IIT Bombay, under the auspices of SHREE.
Synergetic Hub for Research and Education in Energy (SHREE) is a forum of academic institutions and industry in the energy sector in India, which acts as a framework for interaction and collaboration. Energy systems have been receiving increased attention globally and energy has been recognized by educational institutions across the world as a core education discipline. SHREE conducts activities that nurture energy education and research.
