Under the Nationally Determined Contribution \u2013 Transport Initiative for Asia (NDC-TIA) being carried out by a consortium led by IIT Bombay along with eminent global stakeholders, a study was conducted by the researchers in the Grid Integration Laboratory to understand the concepts behind the electric vehicle (EV) charging technology with its effective integration into the grid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The report titled “Fundamentals of Electric Vehicle Charging Technology and its Grid Integration” is the first of it in a series of reports and focuses on technical details of EV charging infrastructure, relevant standards, communication protocols, and grid impacts of EV charging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
