Under the initiative of NDC-TIA India Component, engineered by eminent stakeholders and led by IIT Bombay, the researchers in the Grid Integration Laboratory conducted surveys on the EV charging infrastructure, associated policy and regulatory measures, grid integration, and the way forward for smooth EV adaption in the Indian EV ecosystem.
The second report in this series, titled “International Review on Integration of Electric Vehicles Charging Infrastructure With Distribution Grid”, presents a critical review of EV charging infrastructure and its grid integration in different EV-rich countries with a thrust on planning and operation of distribution grids, grid support services from EVs, technologies and standards, policies and regulations, and identification of key challenges and corresponding recommendations in the Indian context.
