Grid Integration Lab, IIT Bombay (GIL IIT Bombay) conducted a Training of Trainers (ToT) programme on Electric Vehicle (EV) course for West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education & Skill Development (Govt. of West Bengal).
Under this training programme conducted at IIT Bombay during 5-9 June, faculty from various government polytechnic colleges of West Bengal were trained on various topics of Electric Vehicles with major focus on hands-on experiments.
Grid Integration Lab, IIT Bombay with support from GIZ India had developed a course on Electric Mobility for West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education & Skill Development (Govt. of West Bengal) in 2020-21. The course on Electric Vehicle is expected to be implemented in polytechnic colleges across West Bengal from this academic year. The participant faculty members of the ToT programme are expected to teach this EV course in their respective colleges. The ToT programme was hosted by Dean (Educational Outreach) office of IIT Bombay.
