Under the NDC-TIA India Component, the project “Simulation-based study to evaluate the effects of E-mobility smart charging strategies” is focused on relevant smart, coordinated charging strategies that can be deployed in different scenarios and used by key stakeholders.
Under this study, the researchers in GIL published the first report, titled ‘A Critical Review: Smart Charging Strategies and Technologies for Electric Vehicles’ that outlines the concept of smart charging and related products and solutions, gaps in Indian regulations and policies, commercially available products, case studies on existing smart charging projects and a critical review of various smart charging strategies and approaches.
