Energy Day is a flagship annual platform hosted by the Department of Energy Science and Engineering at IIT Bombay. It brings together industry leaders, researchers, policymakers, academics, and students to showcase research capabilities, explore emerging energy technologies, and foster collaboration across the energy ecosystem.
Registration policies vary by participant category. While registration is typically free for students and academic attendees, industry and corporate participants may be subject to separate registration guidelines.
Energy Day 2026 will be held on April 4–5 2026, at the IIT Bombay Research Park, Powai, Mumbai. The event will feature technical sessions, research showcases, and facility visits.
Energy Day is open to industry professionals, corporate representatives, researchers, faculty members, students, and policymakers with an interest in the energy sector. The event is designed to facilitate cross-sector engagement and knowledge exchange.
Energy Day includes a range of technical and analytical competitions such as hackathons, case challenges, and quizzes. These activities are designed to encourage innovation and problem-solving across academic and industry participants.
