P.K.Dash is Master of Science (MSc.) in Physics from Utkal University, India and pursuing Ph.D. from Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, India. He joined the Solar Energy Centre, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy on 1st July 2010 as Scientist "B". He is working in Characterization of PV Modules of various technologies like Mono C-Si, Multi C-Si, a-Si (Single & Multi junction), CdTe, CIGS, GaAs etc., Long term reliability and Qualification testing of PV modules as per IEC 61215 &61646, Measurement & evaluation uncertainty for each test in IEC 61215:2005.Standardisation & Testing of Solar Lighting Systems & other PV devices as per MNRE/Customer specification.


He is Senior Project Scientist of SEC in STAPP project and is assisting Dr. Rajesh Kumar, in the WP1 (Power and Energy Management). Under this project he is carrying out performance measurements on PV modules under standard and simulated conditions and modeling of the degradation mechanism.
