Scope of the Conference

The provision of affordable energy services to the global population in a sustainable fashion throws up several
technological and research challenges. The development and adoption of energy efficient technologies and systems
and cost effective renewables needs an increased emphasis on research and development.

IIT Bombay announces the 1st International Conference on "Advances in Energy Research" (2nd National
Conference) to provide a platform for researchers, academics and industry to discuss recent research results
