Guidance for application:

Demonstrable results

This is a key criterion for a successful application.
Projects must be able to demonstrate how effective they have been in delivering energy
savings. Your application should include facts and figures on how the project has been
successful in reducing energy usage and/or promoting energy efficiency.

Environmental impact

Has your project taken account of wider environmental issues beyond energy use?
For example, has the project addressed the use of water or other resources?

Financial and other savings

Did your project save money for your organisation? Were there any other associated cost and resource savings?

Certification from CEO / Director / Plant head

Certification of the claims by higher authorities from concerned organization / institute

Impact on customers, audiences and end-users

How have your customers or end-users been considered and/or engaged in the development of the project?

Innovation and creativity

Does your project involve innovative technologies or a novel approach, or does it demonstrate a different
approach to a traditional problem?

Inspirational and replicable

By showcasing successful examples of energy efficiency projects and initiatives we hope to encourage others to
follow in their footsteps. Your project should therefore be inspirational, replicable, transferable and not so complex
as to discourage reproduction elsewhere.

What could winning an Award do for your organisation?

Winning Energy Award will provide you and your organisation with national recognition for good practice.
To further increase the positive exposure, your company will also be included on the AER website.
