Abstract

Gas Turbines have found extensive usage in Aero (Civil, Military and Helicopters) and Stationary (Marine, Oil and Gas pumping, Power generation etc.) applications. The presentation deals with how the Gas turbine finds use in such applications. The related performance and Gas Turbine Cycle issues together with performance improvement methodology over the last few decades are also dealt with. In the end the presentation deals with methodology for performance estimation and also performance analysis and diagnostics.
