Outreach Programme on Energy Conservation

Energy Students Association (ESA) is organizing an outreach program for students of 10th to 12th standard in selected schools in Mumbai, with the goal of spreading awareness, conservation and opportunities in the field of energy.

The programme will be conducted in two phases:
In the first phase a team of ESA students, IIT Bombay will deliver a presentation at the schools. The topic will cover various energy sources, energy conservation opportunities in day-to-day life and energy security in Indian context.

Glimpses of First Phase programme

The second phase will be a one day workshop conducted at IIT Bombay, wherein selected students from these schools accompanied by a faculty member will get an opportunity to interact with faculty and students of IIT Bombay, besides visiting the campus. The one-day workshop will have lectures, presentations, quiz and drawing competition (with attractive prizes) followed by campus visit.
