The Energy Systems Engineering group at IIT Bombay is poised to grow into a Department of Energy Science and Engineering. We already have a M.Tech., and Ph.D. programme and are starting a Dual Degree M.Sc.-Ph.D. programme from 2007 and
plan to start a Dual Degree B.Tech.- M.Tech. programme from 2008.

We need faculty to help the new Department achieve its academic and research goals. The areas of specialisation required are given below:
Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor
Electrical energy systems, Grid connection of renewables, power electronics and controls for application to renewable energy efficiency and integration
IC engines, alternate fuels, fuel cell, hydrogen storage, clean coal combustion, bioenergy and chemicals, solar thermal, solar PV, wind, hybrid systems.
Dye-sensitized PV, nanomaterials for energy, batteries, energy storage, microbial fuel cells.
